Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Fabrication, machining and assembly of equipment for each assigned project.

Assists in the de-bugging and trouble-shooting of equipment.

Assists in the tryout and runoff of machinery.

Documents all detail components made and any changes to the mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings and Bill of Materials.

Disassembles projects and prepares machines for shipment to the customer.

Assists and participates in the installation of equipment and service calls to the customer location.

Responsible for completing service reports while at the customer location.

Education and/or Experience:

Certificate of completion from a trade school or Associate’s Degree from a community college; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Plus three to five years’ experience with machine mechanical assembly preferred.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.


Core duties and responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)

Complete projects, concepts, and/or updates assigned by the deadline.

Design and release all electrical drawings and stock lists for the project, verification that the project has been designed to Customer Build Specifications and Requirements.

Meet with customers as required for concept reviews, design reviews, engineering changes, and other design and build issues regarding the project.

Meet with vendors to determine which products are best for the project currently being designed with Project Engineer.

Responsible for checking other design projects and assisting on other projects as assigned and needed.

Assist the manufacturing floor in resolving build problems or questions as they arise on the shop floor to ensure no delay in the build schedule.

Program PLC and/or HMI with software to complete the job. Additional items may be required for programming (Robots, motors, servo, etc)

Responsible for updating electrical prints after they are turned in to engineering for update.

Assist in generating prints and other documentation for customer manuals.

Three to five years’ experience as a mechanical design engineer. Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent experience required.

Microsoft Office Products, AutoCad Electrical, Allen Bradley 500 / 5000, Allen Bradley Panel Build, Siemens S7 software.
